Excellence in education has always been BINA NUSANTARA`s foremost aim. BINA NUSANTARA has grown and evolved from its infancy as a Computer Training Course in 1974, to a mature, internationally recognised educational institution that is fully committed to the education of Indonesian youth.
With the objective of being an innovative and progressive teaching and learning institution, BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug is a co-educational, multi-denominational day school catering for the Early Years to Senior High School age groups.
Established in 1998 as a Senior High School, BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug was originally located in Kemanggisan and moved to its current location in Simprug, Jakarta Selatan in 2003. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) “World School”, BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug offers the IB`s internationally-recognized Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and Diploma Programme. The sequential and developmentally appropriate curriculum provides a broad-based, holistic educational experience for each student and offers rich learning opportunities in the classroom, nationally and internationally. It is designed to explore each individual`s potential while at the same time providing a strong foundation for further study and instilling a love of learning.

In 2007 BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug entered into a strategic alliance with Hwa Chong Institution Singapore. This collaboration brings with it teacher training, attachment programmes, curriculum development and strategic consultation, and is an integral part of the School`s pursuit of best educational practices.
Supported by highly qualified, experienced and professional expatriate and local teaching staff, BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug provides international standard teaching and learning facilities, large and bright classrooms, small classes, science and computer laboratories, libraries / learning centres, indoor sports centres, music studios, a visual and performing arts centre, and student support services.
These programmes and facilities are provided to enable each child to develop intellectually, socially, culturally, emotionally, physically and spiritually as a reflection of BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug`s vision and its commitment to the pursuit of excellence.
In 2009, BINUS SCHOOL Simprug are accredited by the Indonesian Ministry of Education (Depdiknas) as an International School.
